Frequently Asked Questions
Open SnapCal and tap the green "+" button at the bottom of the screen. Select "Scan Food," point your camera at your meal, and tap to capture. The AI will analyze the image and return calorie and macro estimates within seconds. You can adjust portion sizes before saving to your diary.
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel: go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → SnapCal → Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period. No charges will be made after cancellation.
AI food recognition is very accurate but not perfect, especially for mixed dishes or uncommon foods. You can manually edit the calorie and macro values after scanning. Tap on any nutrient value to adjust it. If you consistently see errors, please contact our support team with details.
Go to Profile → Settings → Goals. Enter your current weight, target weight, and activity level. SnapCal will calculate a personalized daily calorie target. You can also set custom macro goals for protein, carbs, and fats.
Go to Profile → Settings → Integrations → Apple Health. Tap "Connect" and grant the requested permissions. Once connected, SnapCal can read your steps and activity data to give you a more accurate calorie picture.
Yes. Sign in with the same Apple ID you used when you originally purchased the subscription, then tap "Restore Purchases" in the app settings. Your subscription will be recognized automatically.
You can delete your account from within the app under Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Alternatively, email us at support@snapcal.site with your request and we'll process it within 30 days.
